The barrier is all but impenetrable from the inside. I've personally tried everything I know, and I know others have as well. They aren't all powerful, though. There is another group outside the barrier that makes war on the Malnosso. Unfortunately, they also want to kill us as part of some mad ritual.

Really, there just haven't been any openings to really...counterattack. Or I would have, as would others.
