It will take some time for the order to be finished so Vash comes back out to fill some other orders. Deliver food. Clean tables. He really doesn't give Vegeta very much thought as he works.
Which is how the problem starts. He fills a dish basket full of dirty dishes and half eaten food. Vash wasn't even thinking about Vegeta's tail as he moved to walk past him. The problem? Walking past isn't what happens. Vash suddenly finds his leg pulls out from under him. With a yell he falls to the floor, the bucket flying up into the air, and the contents of the food flying up and over Vegeta's head.
