It was the difference between trying to shove something as fast as possible and a gentle push with his heels dug in the dirt, and he flexes his fingers on the grip of the sword in his hands, still not quite used to the almost pain electric tingle running through his arms.]

I'm not going to blow anything up with this, but that wasn't the point with applying it to my sword. Trust me-- it's better I don't put as much power as I can into it anyway. [Vegeta might notice the blade in his hands isn't his usual one-- he's already ruined a fair few practice blades he'd made trying to get the output right.]

And since I haven't tried it against you, I can't really say if it can take your attacks.
