misterbrief | 3rd Taunt | Action, A Mallynap Backdated to Feb 2nd

[On the night of the 2nd, after finally finishing his routine training at the Battle Dome, Vegeta's finally decided to turn in and get some much needed rest. Unfortunately that doesn't last long- the droids come for him that night, because it's finally his turn to experience being experimented on.

They don't keep him long though, only a 24 hour mallynap; and he's dumped right outside the village, sore, but fine. He won't tell anyone because it's quite humiliating for him, being that he couldn't do anything to the Malnosso during his visit.]

[But he's acting a little strange ever since the mallynap. Those who've met him already know he's got a pretty sour disposition most of the time, and doesn't like to be bothered. However when he's out in the village, he encounters people in the shops or around the square, like someone dropping a bag and asking him to pick it up for them, and he does without question, or some cheery woman telling him to smile, which he also responds to, smiling back at her for just a second until he catches himself and scowls once again. He wasn't happy at all, but for some reason, his mouth just did whatever it wanted.

He has no idea why this is happening, but his body is doing whatever it wants, but more specifically, whatever other people tell him or ask him to do. It doesn't seem to have affected his personality, and he's completely aware of what's going on, but he's almost powerless to stop it.

He can be seen anywhere in the village, reacting to these kind of encounters. The plaza, Seventh Heaven, the Battle Dome, or in the clothing shop. Anyone who's met him knows something's up, and anyone who doesn't know him well...they might find out if they start asking the right questions.]

((OoC: Basically Vegeta's going to be subject to whatever the residents of Luceti want of him, for the most part. Due to his mental capabilities though, since he is able to resist a good amount of mind control, he is going to be able to resist some requests; but since it takes an enormous amount of effort to do so, he'll be reserving that for requests to hurt, endanger, or kill himself or others. If you still want to do something harmful like that, feel free to contact me; I'm totally cool with plotting something with this if you'd like. Other than that everything else is fair game. This will be effecting him from Feb. 3rd to Feb. 17th, right after Valentine's Day and all the shenanigans. If he's in a thread of yours already from the 2nd or 3rd, feel free to be retroactive with this and torture him to your heart's desire.))

You think he would? But you don't know where all the groceries go. I should show you around the house at least!

[I will never be rid of this brat! What am I going to do? His face isn't showing it, but the panic sets back in. He can't do much else but go inside...]

Sure he would. Who doesn't like toy animals. [Said very sarcastically.] I'm sure I could figure it out, they go in the kitchen, like any other house. And you really, really don't have to do that.

Mostly evil people, I guess. But I'd want to make sure it's the animal he wants the most. And I wanna make sure everything goes where it belongs, so it all looks good in case Katara comes back. I don't see why I shouldn't show you around, while you're being so nice!

[Face twiiiiitch]

Right. Let's just go, ok? [He starts walking really fast to the house. Emphasis on really fast.]

[Aang hastens to catch up with Vegeta.]

Okay! Are we racing?

Sure. Try to keep up. [And Vegeta takes off, groceries in tow, and he moves fast.]

Whoa! You're so cool, Avatar Vegeta!

[Aang runs after him as fast as he can - which not near DBZ speeds is still pretty damn fast with an airbending boost, and he skids to a stop at their porch.]

[He's reached the porch right before Aang catches up; wow Aang did move pretty fast for being such a little kid, but he was the protector of the Earth where he came from, after all. Makes sense.]

[He'll chuckle softly when Aang catches up.] Looks like I'll be taking that round, Aang.

[Then a look to the door, and a glance down to the groceries, back to the door, then to Aang- his hands are totally full.]

Definitely. Congratulations! [Sorry Vegeta, no competitive streak here. But he notices the dilemma.]

Oh - let me get the door for you.

[Aang quickly holds the door open, so that the Saiyan Prince can carry his groceries inside.]

[Took long enough. Now to get rid of this garbage and get out. He steps in and instantly starts looking for the kitchen, eager to get all of the groceries out of his hands so he can haul himself home and find some heavy-duty earplugs.]

Come, we wouldn't want anything to spoil. Let's get this all taken care of, shall we? [Being fake nice sucks.]

Right! [And he quickly guides him towards the kitchen table.] Now just put 'em right here and we'll have everything sorted out in no time!

[The groceries are set down quite quickly- though the command didn't entirely entail an involuntary response from his body, though he felt his body moving on its own slightly before he began to move himself of his own will. He had to get out of here, fast.]

Well, I guess you're all set then- [He turns around, dusting his hands and starting to leave the kitchen with a quick step. Get out get out get out get out!]

[He's actually fine with putting everything away, but he feels bad about letting Vegeta leave so quickly after doing so much to help him.]

Wait, don't go yet! Thank you much! Can you please wait a moment so I can hug you?

[His entire body just stops. Stops. Freezes without a second thought, and slowly turns around to face Aang, teeth gritted. It seemed he was fighting it, by the way he turned, but to no avail. Meanwhile inside of Vegeta's mind he's screaming, No, this cannot be happening, why...!]

I don't hug, Aang. So you can forget about that. [Putting on that tough face, in hopes of scaring the young Avatar off...]

You don't? [He remembers what Shikamaru told him.] Is it because of the bro codes? But I think this is a good time for a hug! So do you think I can have one, Avatar Vegeta?

[He steps forward and spreads his arms out hesitantly.]

Ugh no, I won't-! [Trying to intimidate Aang doesn't work- and with the request, Vegeta's body moves, giving Aang a nice hug, cutting himself off mid-sentence. His face is looking quite exasperated, irritated and defeated all at the same time, but don't forget that nice shade of red it's turned.

In the embrace he just sighs heavily. This will never end, will it. Never.]

[Aang relaxes and gives a nice, big hug. But he's not merciless and soon lets go.]

Thanks. That was great.

[There just simply isn't enough words to express how much Vegeta absolutely hates his life right about now. Complete unadulterated hate. It felt like a hammer had come right down on his pride and crushed it into several thousand pieces, and who knew how long it would take him to put it back together, and that was only if a refreshing breeze didn't come along and scatter them all.]

[And quite frankly, it's taking every inch of willpower he has to keep from completely losing it, face still a bright red, fists clenched. And he can't say anything either, lest Aang suspects what's wrong with him.]

[So he turns without saying anything, and will try to leave before Aang can stop him.]

[Is he leaving... oh well, Aang waves.]

Oh... goodbye, Vegeta! Come by again when everyone's around so you can meet them all!

[He turns around for just a moment, before flying off.]

Do me a favor. Don't tell me when "everyone's around."

Um... okay? [He'll just tell him when most of them are around, then. And waves at the departing Vegeta] Seeya later!

[He doesn't say anything, humiliated enough as he was- and he takes off quickly, thankful just to leave.

Mid-flight he takes a look back at the house, and gives a heavy sigh.]
