[The video snaps on to reveal a parlor, a doorway behind the young blue-haired girl leading into the living room of the home that it had been built onto. A faint crackle of a fireplace resonates throughout the room, chairs positioned around a central table. The location of many a Fashion Club meeting, its use today was for something similar, but certainly not of the norm. Today, an important announcement was to be had, as well as an example to fashion that everyone should take note of.]

Hey everyone! I just wanted to show off something I made for a minute. Also, thanks so much to Hikaru for the sewing and fashion design lessons. If anyone wants something really gorgeous, you should totally go to Hikaru and Kaoru.

[She motions off-screen, although the person she’s trying to send some sort of signal to isn’t in view yet.]

Presenting...my first experiment in men’s fashion!

[She makes a little face when her signal isn’t responded to right away. Someone has missed his cue.]

C’mon Dad! You promised!

Alright, alright.

[From the side, he walks in, not quite looking dejected, but pretty close- hands in his pockets and looking away grouchily as he stands next to her. There’s an obvious bit of embarrassment in Vegeta’s face, but then again, it could be worse. And well, he did think he looked pretty good in the outfit she’s made for him.]

Thanks, Dad.

[Bulla is proud of her first successful attempt at making men’s clothing that doesn’t fit weirdly. She managed to go right from design, to making a simple pattern, and this is the end result. The outfit in question is a white turtleneck that’s fitted without being skin tight, complete with khaki pants, a belt, and a necklace.]

I didn’t make the necklace or the belt, but I did make the sweater and pants myself. So, Dad? How does it feel? It’s comfortable, right?

[He looks over to her, flushing lightly at the question. What, he’s got to give his opinion on this too? He didn’t sign up for this, at least he didn’t remember agreeing to such a thing. He was supposed to wear the darn thing, be done with it, and go about his business.]

It’s a shirt and pants, and they fit, I guess. I don’t see what’s so special about it.

[He folds his arms over his chest, the feel of the necklace irritating him further. He’s never worn one in his life and he can’t believe this was the start of it. Was this really fashionable for males to wear on Earth? How absurd.]

[Bulla whirls around with her hands on her hips.]

Dad! You don’t have to make it sound like it’s a chore. You could have just agreed that it’s comfortable.

Ah-! Fine, fine! [He picks at the sleeve uncomfortably.] None of it is uncomfortable to wear, and this turtleneck actually fits me in the shoulders and arms for a change, unlike that ridiculous clothing the Earthlings make back at home. There, is that what you were looking for?

[Bulla smiles and nods. She’s not going to expect him to talk about how great the clothes are. Just a little bit of public praise rather than grumping about it not being special is all she really wanted. The fact that he’s willing to support her interest is the more important thing overall.]

Thanks, Dad. That’s much better. I think we’re almost done here. But first I want to know what everyone thinks of my first try at men’s fashion! Your feedback is appreciated, everyone.

Sure, I can do that. And you know, I'll even see about bringing Haruka since I'm sure he'd want to come check it out with me. You remember him, right? He'd probably appreciate getting a makeover from you too. In fact, you could do a makeover on the both of us at the same time.

[She's glad to hear that Trunks patched things up with Haruka. He'd made it clear that he didn't want her butting in, so she'd left it alone, but it's good to hear nonetheless.]

Yeah if you didn't notice I kind of left the house for a while and stayed with him. But everything's cool now.

(ooc: Ooops, I fail and actually didn't know Trunks had moved out.)

I've been busy learning how to design clothes, Trunks, but not busy enough to miss that.

So, have you been working on any new projects lately?

[Because she knows Trunks will be bored if he's not tinkering with something to make it better, or at least reading up on new things.]

You bet I am. I've been going on missions to get materials for my lab and work. It seems the Malnosso even gave me a replica of Giru for Christmas, which I'm trying to get to work. I haven't been able to yet though.

Oh, that's fantastic!

[Hopefully this one won't have Giru's unique dietary needs when he does manage to get it working...]

Maybe you can name this one Giru Jr.?

Giru Jr.? I guess that's better than Giru Two which was my original idea.

[Bulla, sometimes you are a genius little sister.]

Still, if you need me to fix anything for you like sewing machines let me know too.

Giru Jr. sounds cuter. Maybe you can program him to eat rocks instead of metal.

[She'd suggest the Malnosso's barrier energy, but she doesn't want something awful to happen to Trunks.]

I'll see what I can do. He might need to eat metal for the time being until I can get better programming software to work with.

[But really sis? Rocks?]

I can't do that, sis. Rocks would damage his insides and he can't eat anything organic like fruits. Maybe I can get him to eat paper.

How would rocks be any more damaging to his insides than metal?

[Seriously. If he can digest metal, arguably he should be able to digest rocks.]

Because of the way they're structured internally. It's all about the manner and compounds which make up rocks and metal.

[Bulla, don't get your brother talking about science stuff. He'll go on for hours.]

...but metal is mined from rocks and it's harder than most rocks, except for maybe diamond.

That's true to an extent. There's more to it than that.

Sure, but if anyone could figure out how to make his diet a little more varied and something that's more readily available than metal, it's my genius big bro.

Well naturally, my stylish little sister. I thought about trying to invent a more advanced sewing machine for you too so you could get more work done on your clothes.

I will so go on missions with you to help you get the parts for that!

You want to come on missions with me? Sure I guess. But you better be careful or dad will have my head.

I will. Besides, I might not be able to turn into a super saiyan yet, but I'm a lot stronger than I used to be.

Well with enough training, I'm sure you could go super saiyan soon enough.

I hope so. I might have always been more interested in fashion than in fighting, but I want to get stronger so I can help protect everyone. I...think I kind of took the peaceful life I had for granted and I don't want to do that anymore.

[Hear that, Trunks? That was your baby sister showing some signs of growing up.]
