Hey! Get me out of here! What are you doing?!!!

[Are the words floating inside of your head. Something is yelling at you, but who knows where's it's coming from? Maybe it's from inside your cupboard. Or you're crushing it underneath your butt as you sit down on your couch, or you roll over on it when you turn in your bed.

Maybe it's been dropped into your pot of water that you're thinking about heating up soon for your dinner, and you are now threatening to boil it alive.

Or maybe something less dangerous, like in your pocket or backpack. Either way, it's found its way into your life somehow, and boy is that thing angry. Real angry. Upon inspection, or finding said thing, you'll find a frog. A mean, nasty, angry frog who's suffered from a shift occurring inside the village. Seems the only power he's retained is his telepathy, thankfully. Sort of. Depends if you want to hear the guy or not.]

Find a way to fix this immediately!

[Find him anywhere you want. Being a frog sucks, but the prince doesn't really have a choice in the matter. If you happen to be the kind of person who would kiss a frog, just like the children's tale, maybe he'll turn back into a prince.]

She starts a little and glares down at the frog and its BIG attitude for such a small creature.]

[He said he got coffee so it's probably around some coffee place so she's going to head there.]

[He doesn't like this he doesn't like how cold it is. How do creatures live through this, this sucks. He shivers in her hands, not being used to being this susceptible to the cold, grumbling to himself in the best way he can. It's hard to grumble as a frog.]

What are you expecting to find there anyway. I don't want my frozen coffee cup anymore. [HE THINKS THIS IS A STUPID PLAN.]

[Kushina glances down from the shiver, blinking when she hears the little rumbling ribbits. At first she frowns down at Veggiefrog.]

I'm not expecting anything. It's the only clue we've got to turn you back to normal.

[Then she's silent. And after some time of thought, she bundles him closer to her chest for body heat, wrapping her coat around her more tightly.]

It always gets really cold this time of year.

[That feels better too, and it's cut the wind down now that she's bundled her coat up tighter. He stops shivering after a few minutes, thankful for the heat.]

Yes, and it's always warm in the summer. [He replies in exasperation, scrunching himself up to help keep himself warm.] Try living on a planet with three suns. You'll never have that problem ever again.

[She's tempted to hold him out in the cold air for his exasperation, especially as he bundles up closer but she just scowls a little.]

No. [He states simply.] Planet Vegeta only had one sun, and two moons. But Frieza was responsible for the planet Namek's destruction as well. [He doesn't miss that planet though. Not at all.]

[Wait. The planet was named after him? He was the Prince, he said. Still, no wonder he had an ego.]

[Going to punch him in the face when he shows up. If he shows up.]

You're not going anywhere near him. [He's putting his foot down on that one.] I won't need to point him out, you'll know him when you see him.

[BEFORE HE WAS ALL FOR IT.]

You can punch him in the face once I've dealt with him. [He admires her courage but at the same time, she's never met him. She doesn't know what that man really is.]

[They've talked about this before ONLY HE SOUNDS A LOT MORE SERIOUS THIS TIME and not smiling at her courage. So for once, Kushina shuts her mouth.

Well, she's quiet for a little bit.]

He's dangerous, right? You shouldn't have to deal with him on your own if he's going to threaten to blow this planet up, too.

He's nothing compared to me now. Once upon a time he was the strongest in the universe, but no longer. He won't win.

Besides. I've got a bone to pick with him.

[There's some real malice there. A hatred that runs deeper than anything.]

[Gotta hand it to him. She admires that willpower and determination. Maybe this is why they bond in a weird way.

That tone of voice in her head she doesn't like. It reminds her of when they had that argument during Thanksgiving.]

Must you bring that up?! [IF IT WEREN'T ENOUGH THAT HE WAS A FROG AS IT WAS NOW THAT]

Perhaps I'll let Frieza have his way with you after all-!

Good. I'll get to punch him. [If she had her hands free and wasn't busy trying to keep Veggiefrog warm she would crack her knuckles.]

[He growls. Fine, she can go get herself killed for all he cares. Let Frieza put a hole through her heart. But at the same time, she's got some guts to still want to do that knowing he had the power to destroy entire worlds. That's something Vegeta can get behind.]

You drive me insane.

[Her determined expression fades away and she looks ahead quietly.]

[They're both made it clear THEY ANNOY THE OTHER SO MUCH. Despite that, Kushina is the one carrying Vegeta to the bridge, keeping him warm in the biting winter, and saying she wants to punch the guy in the face that destroyed his planet and all the other Bad Things he did.]

[He grumbles but it's finally now that they get to the bridge! The suspected coffee cup is indeed there, frozen liquid covering part of the structure when he'd disappeared. There's footprints but it's from several people in the village, so it's hard to tell who's come and gone just from looking.]

Well? We're here, now what Mrs. Detective?

[Kushina walks over and picks up the coffee cup with her free hand while looking down at the foot prints. She's no tracker so she just stares down at all the footprints with no clue what to do.

But Vegeta's surly attitude is grating on her nerves.]

Look, I'm trying to help you here. Lay off.

[Glaring so hard at the coffee cup.]

[Being a frog hasn't helped his attitude any, even though he knows she is trying to help him. He thinks he's been shifted, she thinks he's cursed- ~~they're both right~~- but feeling a little helpless and being frustrated because of it is starting to get the better of him.]

And how does being here help? Don't you shinobi have some kind of tracking skills? Why don't you track this witch down.

It's better than just sitting in my toilet, ya know!

I'm fine. I've been trying to keep you warm, too. But I'm not going to be happy if I'm warm inside somewhere and ignore you when you need help. I said I would help you before so I'm going to help you.
