What's wrong with fifteen episodes

The magic hurtles towards the ground, and in one swift strike of wind and fire, it catches the very heart of the elemental monster on fire. Shards of flame, guided by wind, catch the tendrils further up the beast, giving it more problems than it can handle, writhing with pain as the flame burns every part it touches.

The sight of it all causes him to laugh maliciously, a deep seated bitterness seemed to be satiated for the moment as he watches it burn.

Good. He never liked vines that much anyway...

The fireball takes the monster like kindling, setting it on fire, sure. And it's enough to cause a shriek of rage and pain from Vinedra. It's definitely working, the spiritual essence of the aberration beginning to dissipate.

"From Hell's heart, I stab at thee," Saori chuckles darkly, hands on her hips. "Die, beast."

He sends a few more quickly formed fireballs down for good measure, just to make sure it dies.

"Finally, enough of that nosy piece of vegetation...I was getting sick of all those pranks. What's its deal, trying to kill us like that..."

[windandrain]

"You were getting sick of it? Dearest, they put me in your bed!"

More windballs fly down and scatter ashes and dust into the forest. No sense in giving it a place to reform.

"Stars, I'm glad that's over. I guess we scared it into being aggressive by figuring out how to kill it."

He almost reminds her that they've had sex before, but bites his tongue. He'll get hit for that or glared at or something and he'll completely deserve it. And he sort of doesn't want to think about that.

"Good riddance. Let's just go, I'm not even properly dressed as it is." He's still in a pair of sweatpants and the shirt he threw on. Not even shoes or socks. And it's chilly out here!

"Yes, let's...go."

She hasn't even bothered to shift her clothes, but she does still have on her winter sleeping socks. The most important kind of socks.

"Stupid vines. I doubt I'll ever be able to think of ivy without grimacing again..."
