[It's been a few days since Father's Day. And he got a really nice surprise from his daughter that he never thought possible. Bulla training and honing her skills and power, it really meant something to him; so he's flipping his journal open now since Luceti played a large part of it. He's not even angry this time.]

It's come to my attention that a good number of you had a hand in the gift I received over the weekend. I will say I'm impressed- the lot of you have done the impossible with my daughter Bulla and it most certainly paid off. So for that...[His voice trails off, since saying these sorts of things isn't exactly natural to him.] For that I am grateful. I know a good portion of the time we are safe inside this barrier, but you must understand that I worry for her safety regardless.

So I suppose this is the part where I ask something else not so specific. The gift I received was for your Earthling holiday Father's Day. I've never put much stock in such things, but this last weekend certainly has changed my mind about it a little. Is this something you also observe in your own worlds? And if so, what is it that you've done or would do that you would consider worthy of your father?

What do you mean what's Heaven. Don't you have an afterlife in that inane existence of yours? [Because it's totally common knowledge for people to know these things Vegeta?]

Nope. Never heard of it!

[He should really just make Haru go to the damn library and look it up. He isn't sure if that stuff is in the library though, he doesn't...read books.]

I can't believe this. Listen, Heaven is the planet you go to in Other World when you die if you've lived a good life. If not you are sent to Hell. And trust me, Hell isn't exactly a picnic.

[ravelt]

Whoa... A different planet?! [Some people might express skepticism at something like a planet full of dead people.

But not Haru.]

That's so cool! My old man's a real good guy, so I'm sure if something like exists where I'm from, he's totally there right now! So what's this place like, then?

[misterbrief]

Yes, a different planet. Clean out your ears. [Why him.] I'm sure your 'old man' is having a blast up there. [He rolls his eyes in exasperation at Haru.]

I wouldn't know what it's like. I've never been there. I just know it exists. If you really want to know you can ask one of those other idiots who have died if they ever decide to show up here.

Oh, right... I guess you wouldn't know, huh? You're too lively to be a dead guy, after all!

[misterbrief]

Yeah. That's right. Too lively to have ever been to Other World. And it's going to stay that way. [He's going to leave that one alone. Haru really doesn't need to know.]

I'm not sure if I could handle meeting your dad if I ever did go there. [You're assuming too much Vegeta. You, going to Heaven, yeah we'll see about that.]

[ravelt]

I dunno... You might like my dad. He's kind of quiet and insightful, and knows a lot about the world. I think I learned more in the short time I had with him than any other time.

...Oh, and he's really strong, too.

[misterbrief]

[Haru...don't...tell him that. Don't tell him about someone strong.]

Really? And what makes you think he's so strong?

[ravelt]

He just is! Everyone who knows my dad are just in awe of how strong he is! He was definitely stronger than me when I last saw him. [Haru takes pride in his daddy ok]

I've gotten a lot stronger since then, though, so I also really kinda wish I could show him my progress!

[misterbrief]

Awe huh? [He'll take Haru's word that his father is probably strong- for their world. Nothing has convinced him otherwise that there are people stronger than the Z Fighters yet.]

[Vegeta doesn't respond right away to Haru's last statement though- it more makes him think to himself what his own father would say now. He's never really thought about it.]

You better of surpassed him. If you haven't by now you haven't been trying hard enough.

[ravelt]

I've totally surpassed him by now! I've kicked the butts of guys way stronger than King, and he was dead even with my dad when it came to strength!

[misterbrief]

You seem pretty confident in that! Are you sure it wasn't a fluke that you beat anyone at all?

[Haru looks like a skinny little shit to Vegeta. So he's not convinced.]

[ravelt]

Well... I had my friends backing me up, but... I fought all my battles on my own, and they weren't flukes!

[misterbrief]

Well, we're going to have to see about that aren't we? Maybe the next time we see some action around here you can prove it to me.

[He's not really interested in fighting Haru himself. But he doesn't believe him either, still.]
