[Hey, look, he's back with another subject that he's getting real sick and tired of explaining to people. That and after all the crap that's happened to him in the past few months, maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to let people know, especially after a conversation he had with Cliff recently.]

Now I'm only going to explain this to the lot of you once. Now watch.

[He's out next to a sheer cliff, at the base of the mountain range. The camera is set on top of another rock, as to show the Saiyan Prince with his hand raised and aiming toward the rock wall- and as soon as it's raised, a blast of energy decimates the wall with a loud boom, leaving it as a rocky heap, the dust slowly settling. Vegeta hasn't flinched, and is coming back to pick up his journal again. This may also give away exactly who was responsible for all those explosions that were heard from last week, if people are smart enough to put two and two together.]

Now, with enough diligent training and meditation, which you should be doing anyway, any of you can do that. It's a simple matter of controlling your energy, but if you're not physically fit enough you're not going to be able to do it. In fact, I'd be surprised if even one percent of you manage to be able to achieve even a fraction of the same destructive force I possess. Either way, that might be something you'll all want to start aiming for. And if you're too weak to fight? Fix it.

Now don't misunderstand me. I'm not looking to pick up students. But if you think you can handle it? Then come find me. We'll see what you're made of.

Private to Firo:

Boy, you've stayed hidden long enough. I've got someone for you to meet.

Private to Cliff:

I do believe you and I have things to discuss yet. I'll not have you jumping me anymore with those pathetic attacks of yours, we're fixing that.

Private to Saori:

If you want to see how it's done, I'll be in the Battle Dome the rest of the day. Don't be late.

Action:

[As promised, he'll be at the Battle Dome if anyone decides to try to seek him out. He'll be actually in a chamber, training in a complete power suppressed simulation, working on his battōjutsu that he's taken up learning. Otherwise, those who know where to find him at home can find him at House 29.]

I can handle him. [Albel might be tough, but Vegeta's confidence says otherwise.]

But I can turn my back, if you want. [His hands raise, shrugging, and turns around.]

Tch. I know you can.

[Regardless, he prepared himself. It had been a while since the last time he needed to do this, but calling his ki to his fists was still as the day he mastered it-- and was still flipped by Mirage.

A breath. Another backstep.

He charged headlong for the Saiyan with the force of a cannonball fired at an enemy ship, not caring one way or the other about the possibility of being tossed into a wall again.

Fiery Tackle.

Oops. Wrong attack.]

[He wasn't expecting this attack, but it really came to no surprise- Cliff was a brawler, and he knew it. He could feel Cliff's energy behind him, a smirk forming on his face.

And right at the last second, before contact is made, he dips down, twisting his body and spinning around the Klausian, making a grab for the man's arm to continue to use that momentum to do exactly what Cliff probably expected- throw him into the wall.]

[It was totally expected-- it was why Cliff took the blow and landed in a shoulder roll, ending up on his feet in no time. He took that same momentum and channeled it into a running leap. Gauntleted hands clasped together, he focused his ki with the control he had gained after years of hard training and slammed down on Vegeta with a heavy blow.

Nothing was held back. No regrets.]

[His arms go up in a cross, taking the brunt of the blow there, which causes him to slide back across the floor. He might be some kind of overpowered monkey but Cliff's blow was still nothing to sneeze at.]

Hah. Not bad. You could do better.

[Cliff frowned at the remark.]

I know that!

[1100+ to 40 was the most recent tally of victories in his spars with Mirage. He was embarrassed by those numbers.]

Well then, why don't you try a little harder then? [Watch out, because here comes his fist, aimed right for Cliff's stomach.]

[Cliff dodged the blow, but only just. Klausians had greater speed and reflexes than any Earthling, but Saiyans were in an entirely different league. It was a challenge, a thrill that was more tempting than any spar he won against Mirage ever could bring.

He grinned, taking that challenge with a quip of his own.]

Yanno what? I think I will!

[He launched his fist at Vegeta's, max speed. It was faster than any Earthling that he'd met could ever manage.]

[It's about time.

His hand goes up, and catches that punch, hand gripping around the fist. Smirking, his body twists and goes to try to land a side kick into Cliff's chest.]

[Kick: Landed.

The wind was knocked from his lungs with the force from the blow, and once more he was awed by the Saiyan's dizzying intensity. Mirage and her Avenger Charge wouldn't stand up to it for long.

Maybe a tag team Aerial Assault...but, speculation.

He took no time to breathe before lashing out with another punch, intending to throw Vegeta off guard so he could try something else.]

[Put on the defensive, he sidesteps the attack, the punch just barely missing. He's trying to read what Cliff's got going next, but he doesn't lash out with his own attack yet. He still wants to see what the Klausian can dish out.]

[The Klausian in question saw the easy sidestep and the opening that he suspected was a trap, but he dove for it anyway. This wasn't quite what he expected, but it was perfect for him to turn the tides and lash out with a kick aimed for the gut.]

[He doesn't retaliate, but goes to block the kick with his arm. The force of the blow is noted, and he's already analyzing Cliff's fighting style and potential.

He can see where a little bit of instruction could of made that kick a lot more effective, what he could do afterward with it, etc, etc. It's his tactical mind working, seeing the few openings he had to counterattack if he wanted. A lot of it is coming from Cliff just being too slow, but he knows that's easily fixed.

~~No wonder he loses to Mirage all the time jeez~~]

Come now. Is that all you've got? If you're holding out on me, Cliff...

[Vegeta was toying with him, humoring him in the exact way Cliff humored kids back on the dojo. Rolling with the punches and doing a little acting helped the tykes feel bigger than they were, and it only drove them to keep getting stronger. It was a technique that worked on kids.

It was insulting for an adult.]

Screw you!

[He was chatting. He liked to chat.

He swung forward in a fist, aimed to perform an uppercut that, on any monster and on any other man, would toss the enemy to the side-- or even into the air.]

[He didn't care. It was fun.

He takes the uppercut right to his chin, the blow sending him high into the air, an undeniable crack when it lands. He flips in midair, stopping himself and hovering above Cliff, arm nursing his now bleeding mouth.

But he's still smiling.]

That almost hurt. It's as I thought. We've got a long way to go with you. This is going to be much harder than I anticipated. [Can you get him up there, Cliff?]

What does that mean?!

[He glowered at Vegeta from his place on the ground, fists still clenched in the aftermath of that punch. Blood boiling, he launched off into a further attack-- to leap into the air and grab Vegeta with clear intentions of grappling, and possibly more.

Insults weren't taken kindly. They were an excellent way to set the Klausian in motion.]

[Cliff would successfully grab a hold of Vegeta, but he's not dragging the man down. If Cliff wants to grapple midair, he's welcome.

Otherwise, the Saiyan floats there, arms still crossed and looking down and grinning.]

And what good will this do you?

Oh, don't you wanna know?

[Flying be damned-- Cliff launches a double kick to Vegeta's chest, planning on throwing him back to the ground.

Maybe they can level things. Maybe.]

Ah-! Hey! [Cliff's feet connect, sending the Saiyan back a good distance, sailing toward the ground but managing to at least stop himself before he slammed into it.]

Well, seems like you've got a few other moves left in your arsenal! It's not going to be enough, fool!

Yeah? Well EAT THIS!

[Calling his ki into his hands, he drops to the ground and slams them at Vegeta at full force. Any hints of style or discipline were dropped in favor of something more untamed.

This was an entirely different kind of enemy.]

[Cliff slams into him, making the Saiyan fall onto his back with the Klausian on top, energy crackling as Vegeta's got both of Cliff's fists in his own hands. His teeth grit, feeling the pain in his back from the blow but yet still trying to concentrate on keeping the man off of him, even though now he's not doing such a terribly great job of it...

He'll have to utilize the Kiai shockwave, a physical, invisible force that erupts from the core of his body that should throw Cliff off of him, with a loud yell to accompany.]

[Mistake:

He should'a known that playtime would only last for so long, but the single minded high of the adrenaline rush that caught him time and again had blinded him of his own limits, and the dangers of an unknown foe.

There was no way for Cliff to block the new technique. He didn't know how-- it was something beyond him, in the realm of things that he just couldn't grasp, like Symbology. He took the blow full force, gritting his teeth as he was bodily slammed into the cold steel of the walls surrounding the training room.

The pain was his only focus.

His muscles ached, his lungs burned as he tried to catch his breath.

...

Damn, Vegeta was loud.]

[He's up as soon as Cliff flies off of him, hands now raised out of pure instinct and firing blast after blast directly where he'd thrown the Klausian.

Cliff had enough power in him, he's pretty sure...pretty sure he could take a few blasts.]

[He and Albel had bloodied eachother up to the point of barely being able to stand more times than he could count-- just for fun. They knew that neither would truly win or lose, but that was always just another reason to go at it. The only thing they could agree on was Fayt.

That wasn't near enough to keep them from going after the throat.

He crossed his arms before him in a defensive posture, acting on the universal instinct to survive, but that didn't do much to actually block the blow. None of his lessons or techniques gave him the tools for how to handle attacks like this--

It was like those damnable angels or whatever they were. Above his league. If he could only find an opening...]

[Standing up straight, he grins and laughs. Picking on anyone never, ever gets old, and even though he might not be going full tilt, he's still having an immense amount of fun with Cliff.]
