[Hey, look, he's back with another subject that he's getting real sick and tired of explaining to people. That and after all the crap that's happened to him in the past few months, maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to let people know, especially after a conversation he had with Cliff recently.]

Now I'm only going to explain this to the lot of you once. Now watch.

[He's out next to a sheer cliff, at the base of the mountain range. The camera is set on top of another rock, as to show the Saiyan Prince with his hand raised and aiming toward the rock wall- and as soon as it's raised, a blast of energy decimates the wall with a loud boom, leaving it as a rocky heap, the dust slowly settling. Vegeta hasn't flinched, and is coming back to pick up his journal again. This may also give away exactly who was responsible for all those explosions that were heard from last week, if people are smart enough to put two and two together.]

Now, with enough diligent training and meditation, which you should be doing anyway, any of you can do that. It's a simple matter of controlling your energy, but if you're not physically fit enough you're not going to be able to do it. In fact, I'd be surprised if even one percent of you manage to be able to achieve even a fraction of the same destructive force I possess. Either way, that might be something you'll all want to start aiming for. And if you're too weak to fight? Fix it.

Now don't misunderstand me. I'm not looking to pick up students. But if you think you can handle it? Then come find me. We'll see what you're made of.

Private to Firo:

Boy, you've stayed hidden long enough. I've got someone for you to meet.

I do believe you and I have things to discuss yet. I'll not have you jumping me anymore with those pathetic attacks of yours, we're fixing that.

Private to Saori:

If you want to see how it's done, I'll be in the Battle Dome the rest of the day. Don't be late.

Action:

[As promised, he'll be at the Battle Dome if anyone decides to try to seek him out. He'll be actually in a chamber, training in a complete power suppressed simulation, working on his battōjutsu that he's taken up learning. Otherwise, those who know where to find him at home can find him at House 29.]

I hate to be the one to tell you this but avoiding combat around here isn't exactly a walk in the park. So the peaceful bit is out of the question. [But not the haircut part.] However, if you hold him down I'll gladly do the snipping myself.

And of course I have no trouble with fights, you're talking to one of the strongest beings in the universe. It's what I live for, after all.

You're right. It's wrong to assume that every combat situation can be avoided.

It'll take more than me to hold down Gai. He can hold his own on a fight...or I can ask someone to do it and you can still snip his hair off.

Have you ever met anyone stronger than you? I can't imagine anyone who would be.

You must really loathe him, don't you? Willing to help me make his life miserable, my, I couldn't of asked for anything better. [His eyebrow is raised, however. This boy was very agreeable, and he's never met anyone this agreeable. Not with him.]

Stronger than me? [He hates talking about that. He's accepted it, but that doesn't mean he likes it.] Yes, but they are few and far in between. Most of them are dead, all but one. Luckily enough for him I happen to like him, so I won't try to end his life anytime soon to reclaim my place as the strongest.

It's a little complicated, but I can explain. Gai punched me the moment I arrived here. His girlfriend isn't any better, either. [They were both so rude! Shu doesn't really have a reason to disagree with Vegeta. He brought up some good points, actually.]

He gives me a hard time, that's all it really is. [Shu looks so frustrated.]

I think you're a good person. Anyone else with that much strength might have wanted to kill him. Not you, though. You don't let pride get in the way of what's important. That's what I want to think when I talk to you. Am I being too naive?

Did he now? I wonder why. You didn't interrupt anything important between the two of them, now did you? [He knows what it is to have important moments interrupted. He is married, with kids, after all. Kids are the worst sometimes, let him tell you...]

Unless the universe is at stake, there's nothing that could make me throw away my pride. Everything else is petty and insignificant. I am a Saiyan warrior and to belittle myself for anything less is detestable and absurd. So yes. You're being quite naive.

[Like the time he ballet danced and sang for a god to keep him from blowing up the Earth. Let's not talk about that.]

You don't get to choose where you show up. I didn't want to interrupt them...it just happened, sort of. [Why is Shu even telling Vegeta any of this? He hates being this socially awkward.]

To the next planet? That's really something, I can't even imagine that.

He never used to care so much about that sort of thing, back in our world.

Do you think people change a lot when they're here?

Yes, it is. [Now he's not so sure about this boy. Was he just saying that just to agree or was he really that dumb?]

How long have you been here anyhow? I'd say people change a lot in their time spent here. If anything at all, people change period, trust me, I know.

[See, Shu changes his opinions to agree with other people. He doesn't really care if he contradicts himself later. It's not really important to him.

About ten months. Not very long considering some have been here for years. [He's peering at you now, Shu.] Tell me. Why do you think of your accomplice (Gai) as a fool? I'm interested to know.

It doesn't seem very long when you put it that way. [Give him a moment to think about it.]

He said some things that really upset me and he has no consideration for the people around him.

Back home, Gai thought nothing about using someone I cared for as a tool.

What, can't he fight his own battles for himself? Weakling. [Vegeta's got nothing for the whole no consideration thing. He's the same way.]

When it comes to combat, you can't really question Gai's fighting abilities.

He still resorts to using dirty underhanded tactics to get other people to listen to him. No one questioned him because he was a leader.

I'll question whomever I please. Just because that works where the two of you are from doesn't mean it works here, or in any other world, let me tell you that. If he doesn't have the strength to back up his words, then he's nothing but full of hot air, and someday someone will dethrone him as they are meant to.

[It's simply a fact to Vegeta. The strong survive and the weak perish, and someone will destroy Gai in his eyes.]

No, it probably won't work anywhere other than back in our world. Things aren't the same anymore. As hard as it is for me to understand that fact, I need to accept it.

I might have shown up here a few days ago and things still aren't clear, but I need to start thinking about this world more.

I've grown accustomed to it. It certainly is a different experience, learning about other's worlds and the reality that follows them here. You can learn from some and others are absurd beyond recognition. But either way, you're here now and you'll also come to know what I'm talking about.

[Okay he is sure now that Shu is just going along with anything he's saying. What the hell. He's going to test his theory.]

Tell me, and I know this might sound a little inane but.

Blue's an okay color, I guess. [Not that he'll stick with this opinion of his.]

First answer me this. Why not green instead of blue? Isn't green far more vibrant anyhow?

[Yeah like Vegeta knows anything about colors. He's totally bullshitting through this.]

I suppose it is.

Blue can really depress someone and well, you said it yourself. Green is vibrant and makes you feel happy somehow.

[Vegeta can become an artists. Shu's very confused and he's not sure why this has any importance.]

Well, honestly I don't see how either of those colors really do it for anyone. Orange is clearly a better choice, it's got far more meaning, wouldn't you say?

[YEP STILL BULLSHITTING REALLY, REALLY HARD.]

Are you going to tell me that pink's better than orange next?

[He's catching onto it...slowly.]

Orange might have more meaning and it's even brighter than green.

Oh, um. I haven't mentioned this to a lot of people, my wings are rainbow. You can find all the colors you want by looking at my wings. [Shu's rambling out of nervousness now because he's so confused.]

Pink? Absolutely not! [Oh my god he hates pink, don't even get him started.

But that did tell him something about the boy. He really was just going with it. He's sure if he suggested something awful Shu would probably agree. But why? Even colors were simple, there's no harm in choosing something and sticking to it. He's never met someone with such a lack of a backbone in his life.]

Your wings are rainbow colored, eh? What would you do if someone decided they wanted to pluck out a certain color they didn't like?

Why do you dislike pink so much? [We're still talking about colors, yep.

That's exactly what would happen. Shu's a wishy washy person in general and Vegeta's beginning to realize this.]

I'll tell them to stop because that would make me angry. You wouldn't want someone to pluck out feathers from your wings too, would you?

Give me a good reason to like pink and then we'll talk. [It's because pink is not a man's color. He is one of those guys.]

Well it's good to see you'd at least stop them. I was almost convinced you'd just go ahead and let them do whatever they wanted to your wings.
