[Hey, look, he's back with another subject that he's getting real sick and tired of explaining to people. That and after all the crap that's happened to him in the past few months, maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to let people know, especially after a conversation he had with Cliff recently.]

Now I'm only going to explain this to the lot of you once. Now watch.

[He's out next to a sheer cliff, at the base of the mountain range. The camera is set on top of another rock, as to show the Saiyan Prince with his hand raised and aiming toward the rock wall- and as soon as it's raised, a blast of energy decimates the wall with a loud boom, leaving it as a rocky heap, the dust slowly settling. Vegeta hasn't flinched, and is coming back to pick up his journal again. This may also give away exactly who was responsible for all those explosions that were heard from last week, if people are smart enough to put two and two together.]

Now, with enough diligent training and meditation, which you should be doing anyway, any of you can do that. It's a simple matter of controlling your energy, but if you're not physically fit enough you're not going to be able to do it. In fact, I'd be surprised if even one percent of you manage to be able to achieve even a fraction of the same destructive force I possess. Either way, that might be something you'll all want to start aiming for. And if you're too weak to fight? Fix it.

Now don't misunderstand me. I'm not looking to pick up students. But if you think you can handle it? Then come find me. We'll see what you're made of.

I do believe you and I have things to discuss yet. I'll not have you jumping me anymore with those pathetic attacks of yours, we're fixing that.

If you want to see how it's done, I'll be in the Battle Dome the rest of the day. Don't be late.

Action:

[As promised, he'll be at the Battle Dome if anyone decides to try to seek him out. He'll be actually in a chamber, training in a complete power suppressed simulation, working on his battōjutsu that he's taken up learning. Otherwise, those who know where to find him at home can find him at House 29.]

[And then the energy takes shape in her hands, a glowing silver ball about the size of a soccer ball.]

[He...finally catches her drift. He thinks. He thinks he knows what she's getting at.]

Don't you mean it's a very human thing to think about? Or are you just using the word interchangeably?

Not all mortals are humans. I know you're not. And neither was my friend Mordin, or Leonardo.

[The ball grows and grows, expanding to the size of a beachball.]

Hmmmm. [He walks over to inspect her energy that she's forming. Impressive for a first timer.] Isn't there any other mortal affairs you can concern yourself with then?

[Seriously he doesn't want to talk about how pretty she is. He's way to bashful too tell her that she's pretty anyway.]

Of course. I have to do laundry, and I cook. I do things the mortal way a lot of the time because it's more appropriate.

[The energy grows and grows, swelling and seething steadily with it's own rhythm.]

And music. Do you like music?

Of course I like music. Who doesn't? I just don't want to listen to anything that only resembles pure noise. [Plus it hurts his sensitive hearing anyway.]

Well, obviously. That isn't actually music.

[And now, she's reached the limit. Her hands flick out and the energy flows out of her like a tidal wave. It's the same thick, silvery column of faintly electified Anima, more a blast of lightning than anything strictly like his own...but it stays together, focused by divine will.]

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

[She lets out a piercing shriek as it crashes into a wall, cracking the simulated structure. It's a cry of pain as much as triumph, because Anima just isn't meant to flow like that, and the spirit wants her to know that.]

[He watches her release the energy, as it slams up against the wall with a frightening force.]

Better. Doesn't sound like you appeased her enough though. But I wasn't about to stand there and compliment something that doesn't deserve it. Are you going to have to do that every time you release your Anima like that?

It...hurts. Anima doesn't flow like that. It's meant to be changed into other things, first. Or used to charge things.

[She considers the question though.]

Is it something that could be done with wind or water? If it has to be just pure will, then it's probably something the spirit needs to take a more direct hand in.

I've never done it with anything but my own energy. It's far more potent as a destructive force than wind or water. I don't think wind or water has the capability of destroying entire planets in one shot. [He is not so sure if he likes the idea of her spirit bubbling farther to the surface than it already does.]

And what exactly would happen if you allowed...her...to have more of a hand, huh?

With enough force behind it, it could easily. Canyons are formed by wind and rain, and mountains turn to fields...but why would I want to destroy a planet?

[And so she starts again, this time calling wind forth, a small seed forming, empowered by her will.]

I'd grow colder. More distant. Less...human. When I need power, and when I need to be distant and cold, detached and immortal...that's when I let her have more control. But it takes me months to return to normal when it's not a shift. I have to gradually take control, and I need the help of friends to do so. Contact.

Then let's not and say we didn't. I don't think it's worth having to deal with that again. It was already fun enough the first time, trust me.

No, she's not one for fun like you and I would have. She's very good at destroying things though, and very good at making things grow. But not much else.

[The wind ball grows bigger and bigger. This is really a lot easier.]

Great. Well, I'd say it's better to do without. You can destroy things just fine without her help.

Yes, I can. It's a level I don't like to go to very often, bu...it's there if needed.

[The wind ball is now pretty darn big...]

Just do me a favor and stay the way you are now, got it? [If she had to go that far and let the spirit take over because it was completely necessary, fine. But past that, fuck that.

He is also watching her still. He doesn't think that wind ball is going to be near as powerful as she might think it is.]

I'll try.

[And now the wind has grown large enough that she's ready to throw it out, the spiritual power lent by her Anima causing it to crackle and snap with silver lightning. Really, it's just an overcharged spell. But she focuses it into a ray and casts it out towards a stone wall.

This time it connects with a thunderous impact and shreds the stone like it was made of tissue paper. Granted, it's only some cinder blocks, but this is at 50% strength. Shards of rock fly everywhere, and it bores through in no time, ripping into a second and third wall. A miniature tornado concentrated into a beam.

Huh.]

Hmf.

[His face is unwavering as her blast hits the cinder blocks, truthfully not impressed at all. But she's got the right idea, and that's what he was trying to go for in the first place.]

It's a start. I'm sure you can do better than that.

You want more power in it then?

[She's not that impressed with it either, as it's a fairly limited use of her abilities. Is it worth the energy expenditure vs the reward?]

Of course! As much as you can muster. [Why wouldn't you give it your all when training?]

Oh...okay...

[And she starts over, this time infusing a truly massive amount of Anima into the strike.]

You spend all this time charging energy? Truly?

In some cases, yes. But over time the intensity of the blast comes much faster with diligent training. Like so.

[He'll demonstrate while she's charging her own blast, a simulation of solid steel walls appearing. Merely raising both his hands in front of him, he lets off a Double Galick Gun that rips through several layers with ease until slamming up against the wall, with no downtime whatsoever.]

It's as it is with anything at all. Practice makes perfect.

Practice makes perfect, indeed. But...is it really the most efficient use of energy?

[Bigger now, and this time it's growing faster, more rapidly]

In a battle, no. Unless you're using it to finish off your foe. And even then, you might not need to use it all. I just prefer to push myself in my training. I don't know how you gods work, but the more training I put in, the more my supply of energy grows. That might work for you, too.

It's similar. But there's little real reward that way. My energy, when unrestrained by the barrier like we are on a draft, is nearly limitless. It recovers so quickly that I'm regaining it faster than I can expend it. I'm not really at a loss for that at least.

I suppose it would be beneficial if I were a mortal martial artist though. There are some that can manipulate Anima, mortal champions of the gods. My own champion, though, has departed Luceti. The bond is broken.

[And when she thinks about Clint her wind ball swells even bigger as she forces the pain of separation from someone she loves into it.]
