[Vash is surprisingly good at understanding drunk talk... to a point.]

Thish is completely defeating the purpose of havink a contest! Uuuuugh. [He's giving up on the card game now. His bottle is almost gone, there might be enough for four more shots in it.] I want to see if you can drink sh rest of that! [He points at Vash's own bottle, his mouth all upturned and eyebrow lifted. He's...sort of expecting Vash to, but Vegeta is fair- he'll finish his along with him if Vash so chooses to go along with it.]

Yes it is. It's a contest, just one I'm winning.

[Vash peers at his still nearly full bottle. What the hell. Why not?

And why not make it more interesting.] Alright, it's a bet, but if I drink it all what do I get if I win? [Careful Vegeta. Chugging is a skill Vash has mastered.]

If you win I'll give you a lil dirt on me. How doesh that sound? [He holds up the rest of his bottle to Vash.] Bottoms up. [And he'll just drink the rest of it. After that huge thing he is definitely intoxicated.]

[Eh, Vash was never very interested in dirt, but if that's what Vegeta wants-] Bottoms up! [And he starts chugging.

And chugging.

You sure you want to spill some dirt Vegeta? Hitting the bottle or knocking his stool chair would probably mess up the nice rhythm he's got going.]

[In his current state, he does not care to spill the beans on what he has planned, he doesn't think it's that bad and it's not like he's going to be telling an embarrassing story.]

Looks like you're slowing down! [Even though he's not.] Are you sure you're going to be able to down all that? I sincerely doubt it!

[Vash's lips somehow curve just the tiny bit into a smile as he continues to chug, but he doesn't rise to Vegeta's taunts. Keeping a smooth steady rhythm instead until there's nothing more to drink.

He parts the bottle from his lips with a large and loud gasp for a full lung full of air before slamming the empty bottle down on the counter.]

Ha! [He'd say more, but he's still getting use to breathing normally again and - whoa, that alcohol is really starting to hit him now.]

[Vash's victory is met with a cry, he could rival a Saiyan by drinking like that, how was that even possible?]

Argh, you bioloo...biological vacuum! [Your tongue, how does it work.] You must have cheated, there's no way! [Except the part where he didn't cheat.]

HHAHAHAHA! No cheating! Just a century of practice! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

[Did he say that century line out loud? Naw, he's pretty sure that was in his head!] Besides! How would I have cheated anyway! I won fair and square!

[He might be drunk but that little fact didn't get past him. But he's not going to say anything because he's too drunk to care.]

I'll pass, thanks. [And stupidly he goes and fetches another two bottles for the two of them. He might be drunk but he's not done yet. This was a contest to see who could hold their alcohol better. He clumsily slams the bottles down on the table, but thankfully not hard enough to break them or the table in question.] Let's see your century of practice keep up with this!

[And he starts chugging. Vegeta, you idiot. Winning is not that important. At least it shouldn't be.]

[Oh dear, lord, but he just finished a whole bottle at once and that's just... it's not fair.] Eh! I was suppose to get some dirt wasn't I!?

[Oh yeah, he'd already forgotten about that. Alcohol, lol. He stops his chug and gives Vash that tidbit of information he'd promised.]

Alright, fineee. I don't like worms or squirmy things. They disgust me to th' point whur it makes me ab...-solutely sick to my stomach and I almost lose e'rything I'd eaten tha' day.

[THEN BEGINS TO CONTINUE CHUGGING.]

Worms? Just... little harmless worms? [He shrugs.] Alright. [And he'll, uh, drink from his bottle. Does he really have to chug again?]

Yes! If I could I'd eliminate the lot of them from the face of the planet! [Seriously, they're gross beyond reason! He's so serious about this he even eliminated his slurring to say it!]

[He eyes Vash not going at it like he was.] Now, with that a-ttitude you're not going to win thisss little bet. Beings from Gunsmoke must have terruble parties. [What kind of logic is that? Vegeta, go home, you're drunk.]

Aw, come on. I just chugged almost a whole bottle! [Aw, hell with it. He starts to chug alongside Vegeta.]

[He finishes off his own bottle. Well, it's safe to say he's never actually drank that much in his life. He usually stops before that because no one is stupid enough to challenge him to a drinking contest back at home, since well...no one would win against him. And the only people who could aren't really drinkers.]

I though' you liked to drink! Come now, you were th' one that started thihs little wager. Besides, it's not like we're fighting to th' death. [Though he does like fights to the death. A lot.]

I do! I do! I just don't always like getting sick! [Back to chugging! Halfway done with his now.]

[Vegeta doesn't look sick yet. But all of it hasn't quite hit him yet either, but give it some time.] Well we're goin' to find out now aren't we? [He's getting awful ideas, like causing some mischief now. He's eyeing some of the bottles on the wall, he sort of wants to break them as the bartender is reaching for them just to be a dick.

Wonder where Trunks got this kind of behavior from? Yep.]

[Vash has no answer for that and keeps on chugging. So he completely misses the look Vegeta gives those bottles. NO THE BOOZE, MAN! NOT THAT!]

[He's about to zap one of the bottles when he feels his stomach take a turn for the worse. Well, that's what happens when you drink roughly 45 shots of something, doesn't it? Even a Saiyan's stomach has limits. He doesn't throw up but he knows he's going to feel pretty bad sometime in the near future. Best to play it off and try to take his mind off of it. Mind over matter, right?

What can they do that's entertaining? They are at a bar...what do you usually do at a bar? He's never really gone to one before.]

Hey. See those two girls over there? [He points at a few ladies at a table.] I'm pretty sure one of them keeps glancing over here at you. The blonde one. [She actually isn't. He just wants to entertain himself, and because he's a huge jerk. He's got no interest in the ladies- he's got one of his own.]

[Vash sets the near finished bottle down, grabs onto the bar for support, before turning to look in the direction that Vegeta is pointing.]

Huh? You- you really think so, brother?

[He smiles and nods, flashing his eyes back over to the table. Vash is buying it- this is going to be a great source of entertainment.]

Why don't you take that blonde mop of yours over and offer her a drink or something?

[He'd be trying to stifle a laugh if his stomach didn't turn yet again on him. Come on Vegeta, fight it, this is too good to pass up by throwing up all over yourself.]
