[It's been a few days since Father's Day. And he got a really nice surprise from his daughter that he never thought possible. Bulla training and honing her skills and power, it really meant something to him; so he's flipping his journal open now since Luceti played a large part of it. He's not even angry this time.]

It's come to my attention that a good number of you had a hand in the gift I received over the weekend. I will say I'm impressed- the lot of you have done the impossible with my daughter Bulla and it most certainly paid off. So for that...[His voice trails off, since saying these sorts of things isn't exactly natural to him.] For that I am grateful. I know a good portion of the time we are safe inside this barrier, but you must understand that I worry for her safety regardless.

So I suppose this is the part where I ask something else not so specific. The gift I received was for your Earthling holiday Father's Day. I've never put much stock in such things, but this last weekend certainly has changed my mind about it a little. Is this something you also observe in your own worlds? And if so, what is it that you've done or would do that you would consider worthy of your father?

'Whatever' can be a lot of things, Saori. Now I might have to come up with something almost unfathomable just to see if you stick to your promises. [He's kidding, but seriously he will if given the chance. He has an awful mind like that.]

Well, you'll not have me shoveling muck and climbing about in filth, Vegeta. I have standards, you understand. But if it will help Bulla, I'll do what I can.

[There's an amused flicker there. Just try it, Prince.]

I'm sure I can think of something humiliating that doesn't involve a shower immediately afterward. [Oh he will try it, goddess, he will.]

Just be careful, or you might end up in the mud right there with me.

[She will totally pull you in with her, after all.]

I've been in much worse situations. I think I can handle a little mud. [BET SHE CAN'T SAY SHE WAS INSIDE OF SOMEONE'S INTESTINAL TRACK BEFORE...] I'd like to see you try it.

We'll see, if the situation comes up. Or...perhaps we could turn this creative prank energy elsewhere.

Oh there are plenty of people it could be fun to play pranks on. Quite a few...irritating people as well. Luceti's at no loss for swaggering mortals, after all.

Names Saori, names. [He doesn't give a fuck about anyone who hasn't personally been a pain in his side. But he's awfully bored in Luceti as it is, so...getting some payback isn't out of the question.]

Well...Loki is generally a nuisance. Kirk can be a burden as well. And Isaac, but he's less of a pain and more of an enemy.

That little brat Loki? He's a nuisance all right. [He admittedly doesn't know older Loki.] And Kirk can be just as bad, if not worse. I almost killed him a few weeks ago, he's lucky to still be alive.

What's your problem with this Issac? I didn't know anyone here was capable of truly becoming an enemy, the residents have been nothing but peaceful and remarkably annoying to no end with their lighthearted personalities.

No, no, not the child. He's...a bit of a brat sometimes but I do like him. The older one. There are two, and the brat grew into a monster. [She won't say that she hopes to change him with love. Not to Vegeta.]

As for Isaac? He's...a beast. He tried to kill me on our first meeting, spurned my apology for hurting him and tried killing me again. Then he threatened Belle, a young girl I'm fond of, who happens to be around Bulla's age, and he's generally done nothing good. Even...experimenting on the animals here, if you can believe it. A demon-tainted blight is what he is.

[His eyebrow raises at the notion of the child Loki becoming a monster, because Vegeta certainly has never gotten that impression from the kid. Maybe exceedingly annoying, but not a monster. At least he knows to avoid that one, he doesn't want more headaches than he's already got.]

If he wants to experiment on the animals, that's his business. Now that you mention it I believe he's the one offering the tattoo work over the journals. I don't understand, threatening some defenseless girl and trying to kill you makes no sense to me whatsoever. First of all, does he not understand who he's dealing with? If he's got such a problem with you, he's got a serious problem then with me.

And secondly, killing a young girl isn't going to benefit him at all here- if he wants the village for himself, he might want to concentrate more on the real threats than that. Even though it's not going to do him any good, I'll blast him into oblivion long before that. [Especially if Issac touches his daughter.]

He does understand, he doesn't care. I don't have any idea why he's so hateful but quite frankly I don't care. He's done enough to warrant my ire, and the only reason I haven't killed him myself is it wouldn't do any good. He'll just be back in a week. He's some sort of nihilistic freakshow, I think and the minute I find a way to remove him permanently, I intend to.

[She smiles mirthlessly]

But finding a way to torment him in the mean time could be amusing.

[He contemplates for a moment on this- he isn't interested with someone he doesn't even know but at the same time he doesn't like the idea of another being making attempts on the lives of the few people he actually gives half a shit about around here. Saori's also a big girl, she can handle herself, but he's also pretty bored too...]

So you want to torture him, eh? I've always been a fan of toying with my enemies before I destroy them. I don't waste my time with childish pranks.

Well, once the time is right, yes. I do fully intend to pluck his wings.

[Her voice is quite hard now, but there's a bit of a malicious undertone to it. Not like when her spiritual side is in control, but shades of that for certain.]

For now I just have to content myself with making his life even more miserable than it already is. If you're not interested, it's no trouble. But this place is so dull. I wonder if there's something we could do to liven it up.

[He gives it a thought, before shaking his head in response.]

Thanks but no thanks. I agree life is certainly dull around here but any tricks you want to pull on this moron you can do on your own. If he suddenly becomes some sort of threat then maybe I'll change my mind. Now, if it were someone who's caused me a bit of grief in the past, that would be a different story. I'd like nothing more than to get a little revenge on a few people around here.

Oh? Have you found other irritants, yourself?

Of course I have. Most of the beings I've met here are irritating. The list is longer than I would care to recite for you, and some of them I never caught the names to.

Even the ones I get along with deserve some kind of retribution. [Yeah, because he's a huge grump, not because they did something super offensive.]

Well, next time just punch them into the barrier or toss them in a lake.

[She laughs mischievously]

The last time someone really annoyed me, I made a murder of crows follow him for a week.

I don't think any of them would survive being slammed into the side of the barrier by me. But, that might not always be a bad thing, if you catch my drift. Maybe I'll dump them in the middle of the ocean, or what we can reach of it. Or perhaps leave them stranded on the side of part of the mountain range for a few days. Let someone else fly up there and rescue them.

[A murder of crows. He cackles quietly at the thought. Wouldn't that be nice if he could also do something like that. But, punching works all the same.]

The last few times they irritated me I ended up destroying the fountain twice and knocked one of them out. Had they pushed me more I'd of ended their lives. [Good thing for regenerating everything around here.]

I've not killed anyone yet. But Earth and Stars I've wanted to. It won't serve any purpose but to turn people against us when we should be working together, but...[She actually growls in frustration, all her own] there are so many irritating, arrogant, and vile people here.

I just have to take it out on the Third Party when I can.

[Doesn't Saori realize she just described Vegeta in a nutshell?]

Why stop at just the Third Party, if one of them bothers you so, just punch them right in the gut. [That's what he does.]

[Nope.]

It would complicate matters for me, and it would sour my time here with harsh feelings. And there's no real challenge in beating a mortal into the dust.
