[Hey, look, he's back with another subject that he's getting real sick and tired of explaining to people. That and after all the crap that's happened to him in the past few months, maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to let people know, especially after a conversation he had with Cliff recently.]

Now I'm only going to explain this to the lot of you once. Now watch.

[He's out next to a sheer cliff, at the base of the mountain range. The camera is set on top of another rock, as to show the Saiyan Prince with his hand raised and aiming toward the rock wall- and as soon as it's raised, a blast of energy decimates the wall with a loud boom, leaving it as a rocky heap, the dust slowly settling. Vegeta hasn't flinched, and is coming back to pick up his journal again. This may also give away exactly who was responsible for all those explosions that were heard from last week, if people are smart enough to put two and two together.]

Now, with enough diligent training and meditation, which you should be doing anyway, any of you can do that. It's a simple matter of controlling your energy, but if you're not physically fit enough you're not going to be able to do it. In fact, I'd be surprised if even one percent of you manage to be able to achieve even a fraction of the same destructive force I possess. Either way, that might be something you'll all want to start aiming for. And if you're too weak to fight? Fix it.

Now don't misunderstand me. I'm not looking to pick up students. But if you think you can handle it? Then come find me. We'll see what you're made of.

Private to Firo:

Boy, you've stayed hidden long enough. I've got someone for you to meet.

Private to Cliff:

I do believe you and I have things to discuss yet. I'll not have you jumping me anymore with those pathetic attacks of yours, we're fixing that.

Private to Saori:

If you want to see how it's done, I'll be in the Battle Dome the rest of the day. Don't be late.

Action:

[As promised, he'll be at the Battle Dome if anyone decides to try to seek him out. He'll be actually in a chamber, training in a complete power suppressed simulation, working on his battōjutsu that he's taken up learning. Otherwise, those who know where to find him at home can find him at House 29.]

I might just be speaking out of turn, but just how strong are you? Can you give me an example of what sort of strength you possess anyways?

[Sorry, don't mind Shu he's just amazed. This is the first time he's seen someone physically stronger than Gai Tsutsugami.]

[You know, like...boom. Gone. Nada. Zip. He's not gunna blow up the planet anyway, but he can't help but brag that he could if he wanted to.]

Somehow I don't think you're joking. [Shu's trying so hard not to be intimidated by Vegeta.]

It'd be unwise to make someone like you an enemy then.

Well, it's good to see someone finally understands the nature of the being they're speaking to. No, it's no joke boy, and I'd suggest you stay on my good side. [But on the bright side, Shu hasn't pissed him off...?]

I figured as much.

It's not every day you get to speak to someone who's capable of blowing up an entire planet.

I'll do my best! [It wasn't very hard to get him to be so agreeable about it. Shu doesn't want to make Vegeta mad and the fact that he hasn't done that yet is a good sign.]

After hearing you say that, I honestly feel privileged having the chance to speak to you.

I thought I knew what it mean to be strong, but I was wrong. You've taken it to a different level. One that I'd have difficulty comprehending and you said it yourself too. It's not easy to achieve that kind of strength.

In what ways do you mean? [Shu looks curious and doesn't mind boosting Vegeta's ego.]

[He could get used to this. But brown nosing is a thing, after all, and he's not stupid.]

I mean that you don't act like some kind of insufferable idiot. There's far too many of them here and it's a miracle I haven't decided to lose my temper and knock some heads around. [Really, all he wants is to stop running into stupid people. It's all an old Saiyan can ask for.]

I can't be an insufferable idiot. I was designated as a leader back home. I wouldn't have been given such an important position if I acted so brashly all the time.

It's not enough that some want not only to insult my honor, but take their own stabs at my personal life as well. Like I'm some kind of joke, fit only for their amusement. [Don't even get him started on that.] And then, then, there are some that you can't believe manage to dress themselves successfully in the morning without assistance. It's infuriating.

[Vegeta has an interesting life. Though, Shu does feel bad for Vegeta and it shows on his expression.]

They wouldn't like it if someone did that to them, so why? It's understandable how you're so angry about it. Anyone would be. [Sorry Vegeta, Shu kind of ranted because seriously? That sucks.]

Yep, there are some things that a leader needs to do in order to be successful. Insulting someone's pride isn't one of them.

[Shu has to be the only person to feel bad for this jerk. Though to be fair some of the ridicule really was unwarranted.]

Don't pity me, I don't want it. I'll take care of them in due time, hear me now. Idiots like them don't last long. Do yourself a favor and keep your distance when you encounter them. I'm sure it won't be hard in a large place like this. They'll reap what they sow.

[Shu's too nice for his own good. He understands what it feels like to be insulted on a personal level. It's not a good feeling!]

You're totally different from Gai Tsutsugami. I think that you're a lot more experienced than him. In many ways.

You know that fool? Well, you're in luck, because he just so happens to be stuck here with the rest of us, if you didn't already know that.

He's been getting into problems left and right. It'd be harder to not know about someone who keeps making trouble. They attract a lot of attention and it's a huge bother.

Gai's a fool, but how do you know him? It's not for the same reason I mentioned, is it?

We've spoken before. I've also accompanied him and a few others on a mission here. Quite honestly I think he could do for a haircut, maybe it'll help get the blood flowing back into his brain. [Vegeta doesn't think Gai is that dumb, but he does think him soft.]

It sounds like everyone's been on a mission with Gai at least once.

Why is he so addicted to combat? He can just live peacefully and get a haircut. [Shu finds himself agreeing with Vegeta. He didn't think that he'd be able to talk with someone that strong so easily.]

I mean, you're strong, but you don't have too much trouble with fights, do you?

I hate to be the one to tell you this but avoiding combat around here isn't exactly a walk in the park. So the peaceful bit is out of the question. [But not the haircut part.] However, if you hold him down I'll gladly do the snipping myself.

And of course I have no trouble with fights, you're talking to one of the strongest beings in the universe. It's what I live for, after all.

You're right. It's wrong to assume that every combat situation can be avoided.

It'll take more than me to hold down Gai. He can hold his own on a fight...or I can ask someone to do it and you can still snip his hair off.

Have you ever met anyone stronger than you? I can't imagine anyone who would be.

Stronger than me? [He hates talking about that. He's accepted it, but that doesn't mean he likes it.] Yes, but they are few and far in between. Most of them are dead, all but one. Luckily enough for him I happen to like him, so I won't try to end his life anytime soon to reclaim my place as the strongest.

It's a little complicated, but I can explain. Gai punched me the moment I arrived here. His girlfriend isn't any better, either. [They were both so rude! Shu doesn't really have a reason to disagree with Vegeta. He brought up some good points, actually.]

He gives me a hard time, that's all it really is. [Shu looks so frustrated.]

I think you're a good person. Anyone else with that much strength might have wanted to kill him. Not you, though. You don't let pride get in the way of what's important. That's what I want to think when I talk to you. Am I being too naive?

Did he now? I wonder why. You didn't interrupt anything important between the two of them, now did you? [He knows what it is to have important moments interrupted. He is married, with kids, after all. Kids are the worst sometimes, let him tell you...]

Unless the universe is at stake, there's nothing that could make me throw away my pride. Everything else is petty and insignificant. I am a Saiyan warrior and to belittle myself for anything less is detestable and absurd. So yes. You're being quite naive.

[Like the time he ballet danced and sang for a god to keep him from blowing up the Earth. Let's not talk about that.]

You don't get to choose where you show up. I didn't want to interrupt them...it just happened, sort of. [Why is Shu even telling Vegeta any of this? He hates being this socially awkward.]

He never used to care so much about that sort of thing, back in our world.
