Information about our original place of origin is very muddled. I don't know if we arrived on the planet or if we lived there for our entire existence. Both stories have been told and honestly I don't know which is true.

And how do you fight crime as an outlaw anyway, if one is being hunted I don't get how they'd be able to walk around anywhere without being spotted and gunned down.

I don't really know if they would or not. I don't know about your world but Earth has a massive media communications system where it would be easy to spread news quickly about anything they wanted. Television. So it's very possible, though I don't know why anyone would want to watch something as inane as that.

Oh, we haven't gotten television yet. Just radio stations that broadcast the news and some music. That and the wanted posters. I guess not having television helps.
